Generations of locals enjoy and watch as our community participate in the 62nd Tehachapi Mountain Festival® Parade. Participants include government officials, local celebrities, painted horses, marching bands, classic cars, dance teams and so much more as we kick off the Mountain Festival weekend in style.
In 1985, the rodeo joined the ranks of what now includes over 900 rodeos in 48 states and 4 Canadian Provinces as a pro rodeo sanctioned by the PRCA. On Saturday, August 16, 6:00pm-10:00pm there will be a free live concert on Green St. Listen to outstanding bands. Local breweries will be serving delicious cold brews. Enjoy a peaceful and beautiful Sunday morning church service with prayer and song under 100 year old trees. Christian Life Assembly hosts this special service and provides donuts, and coffee. Everyone is invited to attend.
